Sun Home vs Clearlight (2026)

Sun Home sells published heat and a model-by-model circuit story. Clearlight sells a cabin you expect to still be supported later. Neither is a Finnish sauna, and neither is a medical device because the brochure used the word therapy.

This is the two-brand fight inside best home infrared saunas. People type it after the quotes land: Equinox 2-class has been discussed around $6,099, Eclipse 2-class around $9,999, Sanctuary 2 around $7,300–$7,700 before freight and light add-ons. The winner is the job, not the wood stain.

Two-person indoor class, public and typical. Confirm SKUs. Stamp: September 21, 2026.

Heat versus the pamphlet

If your non-negotiable is a hotter published cabin, start with Sun Home and then verify the thermometer you will trust, not the homepage hero. If your non-negotiable is “someone still stocks this heater in year twelve,” start with Clearlight and accept that typical air temps are often discussed lower. Both can be the correct adult purchase.

Read labor, not the word lifetime

Sun Home’s public warranty page defines limited lifetime in a schedule — cabinetry and heaters are not the same line as glass and controls, and labor often shrinks after the early window. Clearlight’s lifetime story is the brand’s actual product; designated representatives and freight still exist. Get both PDFs for your ZIP before you compare adjectives.

One person changes the quote, not the argument

A one-person room should shop one-person infrared saunas. Do not buy Sanctuary 2 because the Sanctuary 1 page was annoying, and do not assume Eclipse electrical on a smaller Sun Home box.

Verdict

  • Buy Sun Home if published temperature, a documented circuit, and (on Eclipse) integrated light are the named job.
  • Buy Clearlight if original-owner coverage and brand tenure are the named job.
  • Buy neither if you wanted löyly, or if a blanket would have taught you that you do not like heat.
