How much does a home infrared sauna cost? (2026)
A home infrared cabin is usually several thousand dollars before the truck and sometimes before the breaker. The number that matters is installed cost, not the hero price. Blankets are a different budget and a different product.

People ask for “the price of a home sauna” and mean three machines: a zipper blanket, a one-person infrared box, and a two-person cabin with a 20A circuit. This page separates them. Figures are public bands as of September 21, 2026. Confirm the SKU. We are not a dealer.
Order-of-magnitude US residential. Freight and electrical extra. Stamp: September 21, 2026.
| Path | Public hardware band | What people forget |
|---|---|---|
| IR blanket | About $150–$700 (HigherDOSE often ~$699) | It is not a room |
| One-person IR cabin | Often the low end of a brand’s cabin line | Door path, circuit, still a crate |
| Two-person value IR | Medical Saunas-class has spanned roughly $3,499 and up | Voltage surprises, shorter warranty |
| Two-person mid | Sun Home Equinox 2-class ~$6,099; Clearlight Sanctuary 2 ~$7,300–$7,700 | Freight, white glove, red-light add-ons |
| Two-person spend | Sun Home Eclipse 2-class ~$9,999 | 30A-class electrical, light towers you may not dose |
Installed cost is the sentence
- Freight and stairs. A cabin that cannot turn the landing is a return fee.
- Electrician: dedicated 20A is common; some SKUs are 30A or 240V. That is not a surge strip.
- Floor protection and a moisture plan if the room is a garage. Garage guide.
- Optional light packages. They are not a red light panel.
Running cost is the small number
A 2 kW-class cabin run a few times a week is visible on a bill and rarely the reason to skip the purchase. The capital cost and whether you use it are the reason. We will not invent a kilowatt-hour fairy tale for your utility.
Where to spend
If the band is real and the habit is real, shop best home infrared saunas, then Sun Home vs Clearlight. If the band is not real, read is a home sauna worth it before you finance cedar.
